Chihuly At The Dallas Arboretum

This week is your last chance to check out three great exhibits that have been in residency around town. You’ll want to hurry to see them before they pack up and roll out of town for good!

Chihuly Glass Sculpture exhibit at Dallas Arboretum. Today the absolute last day to see Dale Chihuly’s beautiful glass work at the Dallas Arboretum. The exhibit was scheduled to wrap up back in early November, but popular demand called for the Dallas Arboretum to extend the exhibit through today. Head to dallasarboretum.org to get information on tickets and get out there today!

Dead Sea Scrolls & the Bible: Ancient Artifacts, Timeless Treasures at Southwestern Theological Seminary. Play the archeologist and learn about ancient cultural history through this wonderful exhibit. You won’t want to miss seeing these 21 fragments of the Dead Sea Scrolls. The exhibition runs through January 13th at the Southwestern Theological Seminary in Fort Worth. Find more information at seethescrolls.com.

Chinese Lantern Festival at Fair Park. It was so popular during the State Fair of Texas this year that organizers brought it back for an encore, and the final curtain will drop on the Chinese Lantern Festival this week. By day or by night, this exhibit is beautiful. You won’t want to miss the 330-foot porcelain dragon! Hurry and get down to Fair Park this week because the exhibit closes January 6th! Find out more about tickets at chineselanternfestival.com.
