For once Charlie Sheen had a conversation with the police that didn’t end with him sitting in a jail cell.

TMZ is reporting that the actor just wrote a check for $75,000 to the Hermosa Beach Police Office to help a little girl who is battling cancer.

Sheen was recently talking to a Hermosa Beach officer whose 10-year-old daughter, Jasmine, who has been diagnosed with Childhood Rhabdomyosarcoma, a cancer that forms in muscle tissue and requires over a year of medical treatments.

Sheen was so moved from the conversation that he vowed to help. He sent the check to the Police Association, which has started a fun in Jasmine’s honor, the very next day.

Even more amazing is that Sheen’s longtime stunt-double Eddie Braun also sent in a check for $25,000.

Hopefully the $100,000 contribution will go a long way in paying for Jasmine’s medical treatments.
