NASA Reveals The City Lights Of Earth From Space

Our beautiful planet is a giant blue marble by day, but by night, cities glow like stars and galaxies. The only humans who get to enjoy this view are the astronauts floating high above us in orbit.

NASA recently unveiled a composite image titled “Earth At Night.” The high-res image is so detailed that you can see individual cities, wildfires in Australia, boats along the Nile River, and oil platforms in the Persian Gulf.

Among the bright clusters of city lights in the United States, our very own home, the Dallas/Ft Worth Metroplex shines bigger and brighter that our Texas cousins San Antonio and Austin.
