Rescue Dogs Taught To Drive Cars

There is a reason why dogs are considered Man’s Best Friend. They are loyal, friendly, loving, adorable, and very, very clever. Despite this, sometimes dogs have a hard time finding forever homes.

In a clever effort to show how smart dogs are and get them adopted, some folks at the SPCA in New Zealand have taught three dogs how to drive a real car. Trainers specially rigged a Mini Cooper with modified gear shift, steering wheel, and gas and brake pedals. You won’t believe it until you see it, but these dogs actually drive the car in a grassy field.

It makes you wonder what traffic would be like if dogs were driving the commute. Road rage would be ruff.
