Children’s Holiday Parade And Perot Museum Grand Opening Make For Fun-Filled Saturday In Downtown Dallas
Tomorrow is certainly going to be an action-packed day in downtown Dallas! Make your plans now to gather up the family and be in downtown early Saturday morning for all the festivities.
You’ll want to get to downtown bright and early Saturday morning to get a good spot for the 25th annual Children’s Medical Center Holiday Parade. The annual Christmas parade celebrates its silver anniversary of bringing Christmas to Dallas and the kids of Children’s Medical Center. This year, instead of wrapping up at City Hall, the parade will kick off at City Hall with a great view of the Dallas skyline in the background and lots of room for great festivities. The parade starts at 10AM at City Hall and will reach the Adolphus Hotel by 10:30AM. Tickets for seats in the stands are going quickly, so you’ll want to get them now! Get you tickets and find more information about times and the parade route at childrensmedicalcenterdallas.com!
After the parade wraps up, bring your family to the grand opening of the Perot Museum of Nature and Science. It’s a magnificent spectacle both inside and outside! Commuters driving Woodall Rogers in downtown have long been marveling the unique architecture of the Perot Museum’s facade, including the escalator sticking out the side of the building. Inside is a wonder of nature and science that is a great hands-on experience for the whole family. There are even fossils that were discovered here in North Texas by local children. Ticket are by appointment, so make sure you get your tickets ahead of time! You can purchase tickets online as well as find more information at perotmuseum.org.
