They say one vote doesn’t decided elections, but it might have saved one man from serious bodily harm.
U.S. News is reporting that an Arizona woman, Holly Solomon, became so distraught over the idea of President Barack Obama’s re-election, that she ran down her husband in the family suburban for not voting.
The pregnant 28-year-old was arrested after running over husband Daniel Soloman following a car chase that left him pinned underneath the vehicle.
The 36-year-old remains in critical condition, but is expected to pull through. He told police that his wife believes her family will face hardship now that Obama is headed back to the oval office, and she blamed it all on him not voting.
President Obama won the election with 332 where as Mitt Romney only received 206 electoral votes. A person needs 270 electoral college votes to win the Presidency. Arizona and its 11 electoral votes had been won by Governor Romney.
