Madonna and Lady Gaga seem to have a history of taking shots at one another, and it seems the Material Girl has taken another shot.
E!Online is reporting that at a concert in St. Paul, Minnesota Madonna refused her offer to perform together.
“I have the best fans in the whole world. So take that, Lady Gaga! You know, I invited her onstage to sing with me, but she turned me down. It’s OK. I’ve been rejected before. It’s good to build character,” Madonna said. You can see it unfold for yourself in the video above.
This isn’t the first time that Madge has mentioned being onstage with Lady Gaga.
In September at a show in Atlantic City, Madonna exclaimed, “I’m going to dedicate this next song…to Lady Gaga. You wanna know something? I love her. I love her. I do love her. Imitation is the highest form of flattery. But one day, very soon, we’re going to be on stage together. Just you wait.”
Sounds like Lady Gaga wasn’t really into the idea.
