Recovery Mix: The Songs To Help You Clean-Up After Sandy
Superstorm Sandy wreaked havoc on the east coast last night leaving more than 8.2 million people without power.
Early Tuesday morning, President Obama even declared a major disaster in New York City and Long Island, New York.
As we look ahead to the clean-up we have some songs that will hopefully lift your spirits and get you back on your feet.
Bruno Mars “It Will Rain”
And it did and then did some more. But unlike Bruno and his lost love, we’re not mourning Sandy’s disappearance. Instead we’re just going to sing this catchy ballad at the top of our lungs.
‘NSync “Bye Bye Bye”
So long Sandy. You will not be missed. At all.
Taylor Swift “Mean”
Why you gotta be so mean? Taylor was talking about the haters, but we’re talking to you Sandy. But real soon our cities are going to be back in tip-top shape and all you’re ever gonna be is mean.
Kelly Clarkson “Since U Been Gone”
Out of sight, not exactly out of mind just yet. Many east coast states have started cleaning up after your mess, Sandy, so as you can see, we’re moving on.
Pink “Blow Me One Last Kiss”
Pink just gets it. Her kiss-off to a terrible ex, is the way we feel about Sandy.
WARNING: Pink uses a few choice words in this one, but who didn’t want to curse out this super storm at some point?
Bruce Springsteen “We Take Care Of Our Own”
For all those out there who are suffering from the devastating effects of Sandy, we’re here for you.
Go here to find out ways you can help your fellow Americans get through this difficult time.
