Demi Lovato Gets Criticism For National Anthem At World Series
X-Factor judge Demi Lovato took to the field last night for game four of the World Series in Detroit. She was kicking off what would end up being the final game of the World Series between the San Francisco Giants and the Detroit Tigers. The Giants would end up winning their second World Championship in three years when he night was over, but before the game kicked off the talk was all of Demi and her national anthem performance.
The 2:00 performance didn’t have any of the glaring mistakes of Christina Aguilera at the Super Bowl, but Lovato seemed to not hit her notes as sharply as she might like. Oakland A’s Pitcher Brett Anderson (@BrettAnderson49) tweeted:
Demi Lovato just added 467 more notes to the National Anthem.—

And Giants Beat reporter Ray Ratto (RattoCSN) took it to another level:
Demi Lovato's anthem rendition is essentially a strangulated hernia with feet—

While criticism was harsh many fans of the young singer were praising her on twitter.
What did you think of Lovato’s performance?
