Alicia Keys Launching App For Children
Singer and mother Alicia Keys is launching a new app designed to tell stories to children.
WFAA is reporting that the app, The Journals of Mama Mae and LeeLee, is about a young girls relationship with here grandmother. The app, which is inspired by Keys’ relationship with her own grandmother, was released today and will cost $3.99.
The app is interactive and is centered around LeeLee’s bedroom. Users will be able to read books, play music, and write in a journal.
The 14-time Grammy winner said she was inspired by her 2-year-old son to create a learning tool for children. Adding that what they could do with the app was, “limitless.”
