Lady Gaga has been offered a role in the sequel to the 2001 film Zoolander, and according to The Sun she has been offered nearly $5 million to appear in the Ben Stiller film.

Stiller, who directed and starred in the original, is very eager for Gaga to star alongside him in the squeal. Stiller plans to reprise his role as dim-witted model Derek Zoolander, and Owen Wilson has signed on to return as Hansel McDonald.

According to The Sun, Lady Gaga is at the top of the list for the part, but Kate Moss, Kate Upton, Heidi Klum and Adriana Lima are also being considered.

This wouldn’t be Gaga’s fist trip into the cinema realm. Earlier this year she appeared in Men In Black 3, and is set to star in Robert Rodriguez’s new film Machete Kills, playing a character named La Chameleon.
