It seems like ABC’s The Bachelor/Bachelorette has a bit of trouble with lasting romance. Only two couples have remained together out of 24 couples that have been brought together on the reality show.

Just last week The Bachelor‘s Ben Flajnik broke off his engagement to Courtney Robertson, and Courtney was recently spotted snuggling up to Bachelorette runner-up Arie Luyendyk Jr. Just yesterday, the most recent Bachelorette couple, Emily Maynard and Jef Holm, have now officially split, confirming rumors that have been buzzing around the couple in recent weeks. Both Maynard and Holm issued statements to People.com.

“It was a very difficult and heartbreaking decision,” says Maynard of her break up.
