State Fair Of Texas To Feature New Chinese Lantern Festival Attraction
By the light of day, you can wander through a collection of authentic Chinese art with all sorts of designs like pandas, flamingos, butterflies, buildings, and a larger-than-life 110-yard long dragon made from 15,000 porcelain dishes. Once the sun goes down, the colorful displays burst to life and cast a spectacular glow shining a different light on the experience.
The Chinese Lantern Festival is a featured attraction at the State Fair of Texas, but you’ll have to pay admission to enter. Daytime admission is $10 for adults and $6 for kids (3-12) until 6PM; after 6PM, admission is $19 for adults and $12 for kids. Make sure you have plenty of the Fair’s food/ride coupons, because that is all they will accept as payment for entry.
