Even though the weather may not reflect it, this weekend is the official beginning of fall. Not only can you celebrate Starbuck’s Pumpkin Spice Latte without any out-of-season guilt, but you can also bet that your schedule will be packed full this weekend of all the fun things to in Dallas!
Oktoberfest in Addison – Oktoberfest is one of the favorite fall festivals in Addison. The German tradition that celebrates all things German and beer is in full swing this weekend through Sunday at Addison Circle Park. Bring the whole family to sample wonderful food, peruse the arts and crafts booths, play games, and ride carnival rides. Grownups over 21 can sample beers from around the world. Tickets at the gate range from $5-$10 depending on when you go, but you can grab $5 tickets anytime at DFW Albertson’s!
Women of Faith’s Celebrate What Matters 2012 at AAC – Ladies, uplift your spirit at the Women of Faith conference at American Airlines Center Saturday and Sunday. Hear wonderful words of inspiration and encouragement from speakers like Max Lucado and Pat Smith. You’ll also enjoy world-class performances from CeCe Winans and Selah.
Autumn at the Arboretum at Dallas Arboretum – Fall officially comes to the Dallas Arboretum with Autumn at the Arboretum opening Saturday. Come check out the pumpkin village with fairytale themes like Cinderella’s pumpkin carriage, Cinderella’s fairy godmother’s cottage, the Legend of Sleepyhollow, and Dr Pompo’s Nose. Dash through the hay bale maze, and bring the kids out to take pictures in the Tom Thumb Pumpkin Patch. If you haven’t yet, you can check out the Chihuly Exhibit too!
