Cirque du Soleil’s KOOZA Opens Tonight Under The Big Top Beneath Reunion Tower
Cirque du Soleil has long been famous for stretching the artistic, creative, and imaginative limits of the circus experience. It’s not really a circus, but an experience that is unique and spell-binding with each new show.
Opening tonight in the Dallas Convention Center’s Lot E, KOOZA goes back to the roots of Cirque du Soleil to showcase the world’s most amazing acrobats and the timeless art of clowning. KOOZA’s story follows the Innocent as he tries to find his place in the world. Along the way the Innocent encounters a variety of colorful characters including the King, the Trickster, the Pickpocket, and the Obnoxious Tourist and his Bad Dog.
Our very own Steve Kemble, American’s Sassiest Lifestyle Guru, got to attend a special preview yesterday with Dallas Mayor Mike Rawlings. As they posed with a KOOZA character, Mayor Rawlings remarked that Steve would look good in the characters suit. See for yourself!
Cirque du Soleil’s KOOZA opens tonight at 8PM in the Big Top set up in the shadow of Reunion Tower (Dallas’s famous “Ball” landmark) at the Dallas Convention Center’s Lot E. Tickets start at $43 for adults, and are available through cirquedusoleil.com. KOOZA is in town until October 28th, so don’t miss your chance to see this amazing show!
