American Idol went with a major overhaul this past year.  With three new judges added to the mix, anything really was possible.  And it seems that the clash of the Divas has already started.

TMZ is reporting that new judges Mariah Carey and Nicki Minaj were verbally going at it during Sunday’s taping in New York City.    TMZ is saying the two continually tried to talk over one another during critiques of some of the contestants.

Some might have suspected this after TMZ reported that when Mariah was informed by producers that Minaj would be joining her as a judge, she hung up on them.

We’ll wait to see if these kinds of altercations make it to the small screen for season 12.
