Jillian Jensen took a bold step against the bullies who tormented her through middle school and high school. Last night, the world saw her take the stage in front of the X-Factor judges and power through an inspiring audition that even melted the heart of Simon Cowell.

Jillian cried as she sang her heart out, and nearly everyone watching in the audience and at home had tears in their eyes. Her rendition of Jessie J’s “Who You Are” earned the overwhelming praise of the X-Factor judges.

X-Factor judge Demi Lovato has been a staunch activist against bullying. Following Jillian’s emotional performance, Demi walked to the stage to embrace and comfort her.
