It’s a story that sounds like something a mom would tell her child to keep him off the baggage carousel. A drunk man felt asleep on the baggage conveyer belt at an airport in Rome last month and was discovered after he went through the x-ray machine.

According to the Huffington Post, the unidentified Norwegian man turned up at the ticket counter before any staff had arrived, so he made his way to the baggage conveyer behind the desk and laid down next to his bag. He didn’t wake up when the belt started moving. He went through the x-ray machine still clutching a beer bottle, and he was rather difficult to awaken. Officials say there was no danger to the airport or a breach of security, but the 36-year old man who was bound for Oslo has been detained for “causing alarm.”

The picture of the man’s x-ray is making the rounds of the internet. He’s curled up in a fetal position with his hands tucked up near his face.
