Yesterday was the 43rd anniversary of the famous photograph-turned-album cover of The Beatles on the crosswalk outside their Abbey Road studio on August 8th, 1969. To mark the anniversary, American Olympic markswoman Amanda Furrer decided to reenact the iconic crossing while in London for the 2012 Games.

TMZ reportes the 21-year old sharpshooter from Spokane, WA, looking sharp in heels crossing the world-famous and famously busy crosswalk. She was on a sightseeing excursion from the Olympic Village yesterday, and a trip to Abbey Road was not to be missed.

Amanda came in 15th place in the women’s 50m rifle competition this past Saturday.

Have a look at Amanda striking a pose on the Abbey Road crosswalk.
