You’ve been working hard all summer to trim down for that coveted swimsuit bod, but you can’t figure out why it’s not working. Fitness guru Larry North has some tips to help you get fit and stay that way.
Okay, you’re eating healthy and working out, but you’re not seeing results. Think about the 3 to 5 things that are holding you back. Is that mid-afternoon snack attack have you facing daily moments of weakness reaching for sweets in the vending machine? Are you overloading your plate at meal times and eating until you’re overstuffed?
One tip from Larry North is to cook your own food. Learn how to cook healthy meals with moderate portions. Frozen dinners and fast food aren’t going to get you that itsy-bitsy bikini bod.
Combat those sudden snack attacks by carrying food with you wherever you go. You can find lunch bags, ice packs, and tupperware bento boxes at any Walmart or Target. Load up your bag with healthy meals and snacks before you leave the house. When the munchies start to attack, grab an apple or a carrot stick from your bag instead of your coin purse to head to vending machines.
Planning ahead to eat healthy to keep you from making those choices that will cause you to stumble on the road to fitness.
