If you’re looking for something to do for July 4th, make your way down to Fair Park of the Metro PCS Fair Park Fourth. This FREE event is sure to be fun for the whole family.
Starting at 4:30PM, your family can roam Fair Park and enjoy the “dancing water” shows in the Esplanade Fountain, carnival games, live music, as well as reduced admission at participating Fair Park museums! To top it all off, head over to the Cotton Bowl to watch the amazing fire works display at 9:30PM!
The Grammy-nominated Dallas Wind Symphony will give a patriotic performance in front of the Hall Of State building at 8PM. They’ll be playing their beloved Red, White, and Blue concert, so you’ll be sure to hear your favorite 4th of July tunes like America The Beautiful, The Star-Spangled Banner, and Washington Post March.
Fair Park Fourth kicks off at 4:30PM on Wednesday, July 4th and goes ’til 10PM. This event is FREE and open to the public, however be advised that there is a $10 charge for parking. You can also take the DART Green Line straight to the gates. FairPark.org has much more information.
