You say it’s your birthday? Well, retailers and restaurants want to celebrate with you! This goes beyond the free Grand Slam breakfast at Denny’s or a free drink at Starbucks. It’s your birthday, things should be free, right?
Many retailers and restaurants have email lists and rewards programs. If you give them your birthday when you register, many will send you a coupon via email on your birthday. Of course, you do have to sign up before your actual birthday, but with all the rewards, you could literally eat for free on your birthday. A website called HeyItsFree.net actually has a list of all the retail and restaurant chains that send out freebies and coupons to email subscribers on their birthdays.
Starbucks will mail a birthday postcard for a free beverage to rewards members about 3-7 days before your birthday. For your birthday breakfast, you could enjoy a free Grand Slam breakfast at Dennys or a free Rooty Tooy Fresh N’ Fruity breakfast at IHOP. For lunch, you could enjoy a free flauta plate from Taco Cabana, a free double steakburger with cheese fries from Steak n’ Shake, or a free buffet at Souper Salad. For dinner, you could treat yourself to a free birthday bowl at Genghis Grill or a free 10 oz. prime rib classic dinner and caesar salad at Keg Steakhouse.
Retailers like Old Navy, Sephora, Aveda, and Cost Plus World Market send out birthday coupons for discounts and freebies to email subscribers to their rewards programs. Medieval Times will send you a Buy-One-Get-One admission coupon. Harkins Movie Theaters will give you a medium popcorn if you show your ID at the box office on your birthday.
With all these rewards, there is no excuse not to be happy about your birthday rolling around every year. Celebrate in style with all these awesome freebies!
