Il Divo brings their mix of pop and operatic music to Verizon Theater in Grand Prairie Wednesday night. The multi-national quartet are on tour supporting their new album “Wicked Game.” You won’t want to miss this concert!
Il Divo was formed by X-Factor judge Simon Cowell, and the band consists of French pop singer Sébastien Izambard, Spanish baritone Carlos Marín, and tenors David Miller from the U.S. and Urs Bühler from Switzerland. The four handsome fellas can belt out a pop tune one minute and then sweetly serenade you with a romantic aria the next. Whether you’re on a girls night out or a romantic evening with your sweetie, this is certain to be a fabulous night of world-class music!
Their new album “Wicked Game” features recognizable pop songs such as Chris Isaak’s “Wicked Game,” Roy Orbison’s “Crying,” “Come What May” from the film Moulin Rouge, “Don’t Cry For Me Argentina” from the musical Evita, and “Falling Slowly” from the film Once. You’ll also be sure to hear beautiful arias and classical songs with soaring melodies that will take you ears to musical heaven.
