She may not have made it to the Finals, but McKinney’s American Idol star Hollie Cavanagh will be getting the star treatment this weekend. The City of McKinney has a big day planned for her homecoming. Saturday, May 26th will be declared “Hollie Cavanagh Day” and you can expect a party!

Historical downtown McKinney will close down for a parade honoring Hollie Cavanagh that starts at 10AM. Afterwards, she’ll be presented with a key to the city by Mayor Brian Loughmiller. Fans will be able to welcome Hollie home with signs and posters, and then they’ll be treated with a concert by Hollie.

You can see Hollie Cavanagh on tour this summer on the American Idols Live Tour, which stops in Dallas on July 29th at American Airlines Center. Tickets are on sale now at ticketmaster.com.
