There have been rumors circulating for months that anyone from Janet Jackson to Britney Spears was joining as a Judge, but teen pop star, Demi Lovato, is set to be a judge on the upcoming season of The X Factor.

Who else might be joining the show?

TMZ is reporting that Lovato has officially signed on to be a judge for the next season of The X Factor.

Lovato’s signing will be officially announced today at Fox’s upfront presentation in New York City, where Britney Spears is also expected to be revealed as a new judge on the show.

Lovato, 19, is best known as the star of the Disney Channel sitcom Sonny with a Chance and for her teen pop hits “Here We Go Again” and “Get Back.” The singer has been mounting a comeback since 2010, when she entered rehab for an eating disorder and self-harming. Lovato is set to tour this summer, but X Factor‘s shooting schedule will reportedly not interfere with her shows.
