2012 Winter TCA Tour - Day 7

A show based on a book based the people of the Dallas Fort Worth area has been official canceled by the ABC network. ‘GCB’, which is an acronym, will no longer be on ABC. That is of course unless Randy Bragdon has something to say about it.

Bragdon started the website savegcb.com with a chang.org petition looking to get enough signitures to get the show back on the air.

The petition reads:

“To: ABC Entertainment
ABC Entertainment
500 S. Buena Vista St
Burbank, CA 91521-4551

This petition is directed to the management of ABC Entertainment regarding their new show GCB”, currently shown at 10:00 pm on Sundays. (abc.go.com)

We, the undersigned, wish to show our eagerness for the show to be given a chance to prove itself for a second season and beyond.

If the viewers are given enough time to engage in this continuing narrative we believe they will become loyal, long-term fans of the show.

Thank you for taking the time to read this – here’s to many future successful episodes of “GCB!”

Currently the petition stands at 17,188 signatures.

The show received mediocre reviews for it’s first season. We’ll see if the petition will be enough for ABC or another company to take a shot on ‘GCB’

Did you watch GCB?
