Michael Jackson’s Estate Signs Deal With Pepsi; King Of Pop Will Appear On Cans
Michael Jackson’s estate has signed a gigantic deal with Pepsi.
The posthumous deal will include a new TV ad, special edition Pepsi cans featuring the singer’s image, and the chance to win remixes of Jackson’s songs to download.
A spokesperson for Jackson’s estate told TMZ that the deal was made with plans of remarketing Jackson’s 1987 album, “Bad.” “We’re here to market the ‘Bad’ album and Pepsi is the most effective place to do it,” said the spokesperson.
This will not be the first time that Jackson has worked with Pepsi. in 1984 Jackson’s hair caught on fire while filming an advertisement for Pepsi. The accident left him with severe scalp burns for which the singer was prescribed the substance Demerol, which some speculate led to his addiction to prescription drugs.
