Yesterday Jessie J released the music video for “Laserlight.” Featuring David Guetta, while the music is no departure for the singer vocally, fans had something else to say about the video.
“Not going to lie @jessiejofficial I dont really like the laserlight vid, I can speak for a lot of heartbeats we don’t really think its “you,” one fan tweeted.
Jessie J. shot back and asked that same fan a question.

“Laserlight” has already amassed over 100,000 views. Throughout the video, Jessie J is seen in diverse outfits: a studded leather jacket, pink corset and colorful clubbing gear. Despite fan criticism, Jessie J let her followers know it is an authentic video.
“I was asking genuinely. Why is everything made into a HUGE thing. I respect everyones opinion but I will always do what I love. Doesn’t mean everyone is going to like it. Life isn’t like that. But I am me. Always me.
” she tweeted.
Different is good, change is normal, growth is important.

Clearly accepting of her fans having a difference of opinion, Jessie J acknowledged one saying she knows it’s not an attack on her as a musician.
#heartbeats are just giving your opinion . I think it’s important for @jessiejofficial . clear that this is no attack , it’s love .
