Can it be almost twenty years since we first heard [lastfm link_type="artist_info"]Sheryl Crow[/lastfm]‘s music?  Little did anyone know that “Leaving Las Vegas” (the song and the video) would lead to such an amazing career.  Sheryl’s 7^th album “100 Miles From Memphis,” contains many songs that take her back to her roots (she grew up 100 miles from Memphis).

During the sessions one of the songs reminded everyone of the Jackson 5 song “I Want You Back,” so she recorded it as a bonus track for the album.  She has recently added quite a few dates to her current tour, but one you won’t find on her website is the May 14^th appearance at the Meyerson Symphony Center.  It’s a fundraiser for Vogel Alcove, a Dallas charity that helps homeless children.  Go to www.attpac.org to get tickets.
