Adele’s “21” Taking The UK Charts By Storm

Earlier this month, [lastfm link_type="artist_info"]Adele[/lastfm]‘s 21 surpassed Michael Jackson’s Thriller on the UK all-time biggest selling album list.

And now it has climb past Pink Floyd’s “The Dark Side Of The Moon.” Can anything stop Adele’s “21”?

Adele’s “21” is now the 7th biggest-selling album in that has ever hit the UK. It has sold 4.142 million copies, which moves it past[lastfm link_type="artist_info"] Pink Floyd[/lastfm]‘s 1973 release, “The Dark Side Of The Moon.”

“21” only needs to sell 12,000 more copies to move up too sixth on the list which would put it above Dire Straits’ “Brother In Arms.”

  7. 21 – Adele – 4,142,000 copies sold.
  8. The Dark Side Of The Moon – Pink Floyd – 4,116,000 copies sold.
  9. Bad – Michael Jackson – 3,960,000 copies sold.
  10. Greatest Hits II – [lastfm link_type="artist_info"]Queen [/lastfm]- 3,888,000 copies sold.

By the looks of it in a few month’s Adele could easily have the biggest selling album in UK history.

She still has quite a ways to go to catch Michael Jackson‘s “Thriller” and [lastfm link_type="artist_info"]The Eagles[/lastfm]‘ “Eagles: Theri Greatest Hits”.
