First time mother Jessica Simpson is gracing the cover of “Elle” magazine showing off her baby bump, and a little bit more.

Not that Jessica on the cover is doing anything we haven’t seen before. Demi Moore doing it in 1991′s Vanity Fair might have been the first. Plus maternity pictures all take similar poses.

Also in the magazine Jessica reveals that her and the father Eric Johnson are expecting a little girl.  While they haven’t given out the name to the public Jessica told the magazine that they do have one and it is ‘nontraditional.’

‘We’re sure on the name. It’s nothing shocking and nothing you’ll have to add to the dictionary” she said, “Still, when people hear it, they’ll know … why.’
