Over at Kiplinger (the company that does a ton of research on business and economic standards) they just released their annual “100 Best Values in Public Colleges” list. A few Texas schools made the list.
Three institutions in the Lone Star State made the cut in 2012:
#21 – Texas A&M University in College Station
#24 – University of Texas at Austin
#46 – University of Texas at Dallas
Their formula for calculating the rankings involves cost and financial aid, student indebtedness, competitiveness, graduation rates, and academic support.

Texas has a few universities on the best values in private schools list was released in October.
