Over at Kiplinger (the company that does a ton of research on business and economic standards) they just released their annual “100 Best Values in Public Colleges” list.  A few Texas schools made the list.

Three institutions in the Lone Star State made the cut in 2012:

#21 – Texas A&M University in College Station

#24 – University of Texas at Austin

#46 – University of Texas at Dallas

Their formula for calculating the rankings involves cost and financial aid, student indebtedness, competitiveness, graduation rates, and academic support.

The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill has been crowned the best public school bargain. You can read their entire report on public schools at Kiplinger.com.

Texas has a few universities on the best values in private schools list was released in October.
