Van Halen Announce 2012 Tour With David Lee Roth At The Mic

Set the clock on your way-back machine to 1984, when David Lee Roth and the rest of the guys in [lastfm link_type="artist_info"]Van Halen[/lastfm] made us all “Jump.” 2012 marks Van Halen’s 40th anniversary, if you can believe that, and the boys are embarking on a world tour with none other than “Diamond Dave” crooning the tunes that had us all rocking back in the day.

Van Halen posted a video on their website Monday annoucing a world tour coming in 2012. While they are still mum on an upcoming albums, the 40th anniversary tour will have original frontman David Lee Roth dancing and jumping all around the stage like it was 1984 all over again.

Whether you’re a fan of David Lee Roth or Sammy Hagar, Van Halen fans alike are sure to “jump” at a chance to get tickets, which go on sale January 10th. Locations and specific dates are still yet to be announced.
