In the midst of the divorce drama surrounding Kim Kardashian, it appears that she and ex Reggie Bush might be close to getting back together. The latest issue of supermarket tabloid Life & Style magazine reports that Reggie reached out to Kim shortly after she filed for divorce from Kris Humphries.

The pair have been trading text messages since the divorce bomb dropped. Reggie reached out to make sure that Kim was okay.

“They’ve stayed in touch ever since, texting and talking. Kim was Reggie’s first love. He knows she’s hurting right now, but when the time is right, he’ll swoop in and take care of her,” says a family friend of the Kardashians.

As things continue to get ugly in the divorce drama with Kris Humphries refusing to sign the papers and spouting claims of fraud, an anonymous source from inside the Kardashians claims that Reggie has been a rock of support during these stormy times for Kim.

“He’s concerned about her; he’s making sure she’s holding it together,” the insider shares. “Reggie always knew that it wasn’t going to work [between Kim and Kris], so he’s been waiting and watching.”
