British songstress Adele is using an app on her smart phone to speak for her. The award winning singer has been suffering from throat issues for a few months and just had surgery here in America to try to help. But apparently she can’t even talk right now.
NME is reporting that she has to type out what she wants to say and let her phone do the talking so she can rest her vocal chords.
Adele had surgery to stop recurrent bleeding from a benign polyp on her vocal chords. She reported that it was a success but warned her fans, “I have absolutely no choice but to recuperate properly and fully, or I risk damaging my voice forever.”
So now when she wants a venti chi tea at Starbucks she pulls out her phone. The surgery and subsequent rest caused her to cancel all her remaining live shows this year.
No word yet on when Adele should be recovered enough to perform again.
