There are certain acts that find a very successful formula and stick to it. [lastfm link_type="artist_info"] Chicago[/lastfm] is one of those bands. The latest effort is their third Christmas album, “O Christmas 3.” But this time they did it one better, with great guest collaborations, including [lastfm link_type="artist_info"]America[/lastfm], [lastfm link_type="artist_info"]Dolly Parton[/lastfm], and [lastfm link_type="artist_info"]Bebe Winans[/lastfm].
There are 14 cuts in all, and every one of them has been “Chicago-ized.” And that’s a good thing. From the first note (or the first brass note) you know who it is.
Chicago is coming to the Metroplex for a Christmas show at Allen Events Center on December 10th, so you’ll be able to hear the songs in-person, too.
