Michael Jackson’s personal physician, Conrad Murray, was sentenced to 4 years in prison Tuesday. The time will be served in an L.A. County jail. After more than two years of investigation and trial there is finally some closer to the death of the King of Pop.
Murray stood expressionless as the L.A Superior Court Judge Michael Pastor told him he was an unfit candidate for probation and sentenced the doctor for involuntary manslaughter in Jackson’s 2009 death.
“He has absolutely no sense of remorse,” the judge said. “[Murray] is and remains dangerous. … I think Dr. Murray is so reckless that I believe he is a danger to the community.”
It has not been determined if Murray will spend his time in jail in general population or on lock down for his own safety. That will be up to the California Department of Corrections.
