Twi-Hards across the country lined up for hours to get a seat at midnight showings of The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn, Part 1 last night. And as dawn has broken, their reviews are glowing. Despite the PG-13 rating, what are Twi-Moms saying about their beloved book in movie form?
Twi-Moms have been calling in offering their reviews, and they have all been positive. One fan said she thought it was “fabulous.”
Many loved it despite the fear that movie adaptations of books rarely live up to the ideal of fans, and many times that is due to cutting out scenes and nuances from the book that would make a movie too long. We all know about the wedding, but what about the honeymoon? Breaking Dawn, Part 1 was handed a PG-13 rating, which causes some parents to wonder, is this appropriate for my kid to see? The Twi-Moms have spoken: It’s not graphic, rather, more suggestive than anything. You may want to have a sit-down with your kids before heading to the theaters, but you won’t have to cover their eyes in the theater.
