Mariah Yeater, the woman claiming [lastfm link_type="artist_info"]Justin Bieber[/lastfm] is the father of her baby, has dropped her paternity suit against the teen pop idol. As if that wasn’t enough, her legal team has left her as well.

Apparently, Yeater quietly withdrew her paternity suit last week. This comes after Bieber and his lawyer, Howard Weitzman, planned to not only submit to a DNA test but also file a countersuit against Yeater and her lawyers for the phony paternity case. In light of a pending countsuit, Yeater’s lawyers, Lance Rogers and Matt Pare, cut their losses and quit the case.

Bieber still intends to take the paternity test, and it’s only a matter of time before the countersuit comes down. He’s currently making appearances in Europe.

Rabid Bieber fans have focused their attention on Yeater, lobbing threats at the single mother. There are two camps in the Bieber fan base, those who support his relationship with Selena Gomez and those who want him all themselves, but there is one thing these camps can both rally behind and that is their hatred of Mariah Yeater.

One thing is for sure, Yeater has opened a Pandora’s box for herself and the consequences are sure to follow.
