Dallas’ city-owned Omni Dallas hotel welcomes its first guests today. The 1,001-room hotel and convention center will open its doors today, two months ahead of schedule, with special rates of $111.
In addition to 1,001 guest rooms, there are 67 luxury suites, and 39 meeting rooms, including 2 ballrooms. There are also a slew of restaurants and eateries to tease your palette. Executive chef, Jason Weaver will have the reigns of Texas Spice, The Owner’s Box, the Uptown Terrace, the Lobby Lounge, and Morsels in addition to in-room dining, banquets and catering. Texas Spice is a cutting-edge farm-to-market 3-meal-a-day restaurant. The Owner’s Box is a state-of the art interactive sports bar with a floor covered in backlit newspapers.
You can relax at the Mokara spa or beside the roof terrace pool that has stunning views of downtown Dallas.
The hotel is connected to the Dallas Convention Center and just a few steps from a DART light rail station that can zip you around Dallas to places like the West End, Victory Park, the night life of Deep Ellum, or shopping in Uptown & West Village.
