It doesn’t look like the wedding guests will be getting their gifts back. Kim Kardashian has decided to make a huge donation to the Dream Foundation to the tune of $200,000 rather than send back her wedding gifts. She also has a few words for those nasty rumors about her marriage.

Since the bomb dropped that Kim Kardashian had filed for divorce from Kris Humphries, there have been rumors buzzing that the wedding was a publicity stunt, she did it for the money, and that they made a profit off the wedding.

In a message to her fans on her blog, Kim sets the record straight on all that gossip. She insists that she indeed married for love, but she was “caught up with the hoopla and the filming of the TV show that when I probably should have ended my relationship, I didn’t know how to and didn’t want to disappoint a lot of people.”

According to TMZ, Kim has told people close to her that the marriage was “100% real.” She also states that their relationship had been growing for a year, and it wasn’t spur-of-the-moment. She truly believed it would last forever when they got engaged.

In response to the allegations that she pocketed millions off her wedding, she says, “These reports are simply not true and it makes me so sad to have to even clarify this.”
