Those well-known sideline beauties of the Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders will be sashaying their way to your televisions tonight. Season 6 of their show Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders: Making The Team kicks off tonight at 9pm on CMT.

Ally Traylor assures that this season is jam-packed with drama! Recruiters are setting high standards and taking no excuses to fill 17 spots on the squad.

Why so many spots to fill? Half the ladies who are long-time veterans retired to pursue careers and start families. Ally says, “It’s not a full time job, but it is a full time commitment.” The fun can’t last forever, and after 4 or 5 years, there’s a time to decide it’s time to grow up.

With Halloween coming up, the ladies always get a kick out of fans dressing in the uniform. For them it’s a huge honor. The cheerleaders themselves still get wonderstruck when putting on the iconic blue and white uniform. They realize what an incredible opportunity they have to travel the world with an organization that is known for being the best at what they do.
