In a ceremony that mirrored his wedding to first wife Linda, [lastfm link_type="artist_info"]Paul McCartney[/lastfm] married New York heiress Nancy Shevell. The wedding was simple and small with just 30 guests on hand to witness the wedding in Old Marylebone Town Hall.
Perhaps Paul McCartney has found love at last after losing his beloved wife Linda to cancer. His children never quite warmed to Heather Mills, however they all seem to have taken a shine to Nancy Shevell.
The simple ceremony was a far cry from the lavish, over-the-top wedding to Heather Mills in an Irish castle. This weekend’s ceremony was in the same town hall where Paul married Linda in 1969. A couple hundred well-wishers turned up outside the town hall on Sunday to show their love and congratulations to the bride and groom.

The couple chose Sunday to get married as it would have been John Lennon’s 71st birthday. Ringo Starr was in attendance at the wedding as well as George Harrison’s widow.
The bride wore a dress designed by Paul’s daughter Stella McCartney. Stella also arranged the three-course vegetarian feast served at a reception held at Paul’s home in nearby St John’s Wood.
