It certainly seems like lots of the new talent in pop music is coming from North Texas, and [lastfm link_type="artist_info"]Demi Lovato[/lastfm] is no exception.    The singer/actress got started at age seven with both professions, and has appeared on or starred in TV shows like “Barney & Friends” and “Sonny With A Chance”; as well as movies like “Camp Rock.”  She counts among her friends [lastfm link_type="artist_info"]Selena Gomez[/lastfm] and the [lastfm link_type="artist_info"]Jonas Brothers[/lastfm], and has toured the world; all by the age of nineteen.

Her third album, “Unbroken,” dropped last week, and the first single, “Skyscraper” debuted at #10.  [photogallerylink id=56247 align=left]This year alone she was won numerous honors, including a “People’s Choice” award, two “Teen Choice” awards, two “Do Something” awards, and an “Alma” award.

A bright future indeed, for yet another North Texas talent.
