Hair-y Broadway Hit Coming To Winspear Opera House
The hippy-hit musical Hair has come to the Winspear Opera House. This winner of the 2009 Tony for Best Musical Revival will have you letting your hair down in the aisles of the new opera house in downtown Dallas. You won’t be able to resist singing along with the “Age of Aquarius,” not even if you’re a Gemini.
Hair is a celebration of life and freedom. It was the first rock musical when it opened in 1967, and it’s been knocking down doors and rocking the world ever since.
This straight-from-Broadway production features some of the most classic songs such as “Good Morning Starshine,” “Let the Sunshine In,” and “Aquarius.” The cast even comes dancing through the aisles, so you can really let your Hair down with the cast!
The production currently running at the Winspear will be in town until October 2nd. It comes with a parental warning as there is some material and images that might not be appropriate for those under the age of 13.
