Justin Bieber Honors Vocal Coach, Performs Hits From Usher and Matchbox Twenty

Ok, let’s just get this out in the open: I kind of  like [lastfm link_type=”artist_info”]Justin Bieber[/lastfm].

And by “kind of” I mean, “totally.”

Yeah, I know, blasphemy. I’m a 22-year-old guy who can’t help but tap his foot when he hears that little snot-nosed sensation sing. I used to be ashamed of  how much I genuinely like (some of) his music, but I’ve learned to embrace The Biebs for all that he is.

Music is music, whether it’s [lastfm link_type=”artist_info”]Brian May[/lastfm] screeching out a face-melting guitar solo, [lastfm link_type=”artist_info”]Adele[/lastfm] pouring her heart into every song, or [lastfm link_type=”artist_info”]Justin Bieber[/lastfm] bobbling around on stage with his skinny jeans and Air Jordans. Sometimes you just can’t help loving a song, or an artist.

At the recent 33rd Annual Georgia Music Hall of Fame Awards,[lastfm link_type=”artist_info”] Justin Bieber[/lastfm] made a special appearance to honor his vocal coach, Jan Smith. The Teen Idol played a medley of his own hits, along with classic tracks from [lastfm link_type=”artist_info”]Usher[/lastfm] and [lastfm link_type=”artist_info”]Matchbox Twenty[/lastfm].

The audio is a little muddled, as no one in the country has managed to figure out a way to coral the hordes of girls following this man, but either way, check it out:
