Well it seems [lastfm link_type="artist_info"]Madonna[/lastfm] has finally taken the plunge into full blown lunacy. The pop star now turned movie director has sure made a lot of press as she’s been touring the world to promote her new film ‘W.E.‘. First in Venice at the Venice Film Festival where she pronounced her distaste for hydrangeas given to her by a fan and now at the Toronto International Film Festival a peculiar situation involving TIFF volunteers.
Reports from UK tabloid paper “The Globe” say that a volunteer at the Canadian film festival said that while Madonna was walking through the halls behind the stage, where she would give a press conference on her new movie, all the volunteers (about 8 of them) were told to turn and face a wall so they could not look at Madonna.
[photogallerylink id=54816 align=left]According to the source, all the volunteers did as instructed and didn’t look at the ‘W.E.’ director. Madonna was even heard in her press conference thanking all the volunteers at the festival.
Madonna’s publicist has come out to deny the claims that any such event has happened. We’re not sure, Madonna has a British accent now, so really anything is possible.
