School will be starting soon. Kimberly Schlegel Whitman has some fun activites to keep the kids occupied until then.
Here are a few activities to help your kids beat the heat until school starts:
Indoor Safari Park – Train rides, jungle gyms, miniature golf, trampolines, and more… and it’s all indoors! Your kids can ride robotic safari animals, visit the bear factory, or have the run of all the attractions. There’s even a soft play area for toddlers. They have locations in Plano & Southlake. Visit their website, indoorsafaripark.com.
Kidville – There are 2 fantastic camps for boys & girls ages 2-5: Fairy Princess Camp for the girls and Superhero Camp for the boys. Kidville also has great music classes and open play time. This is great if you want to drop the kids off and have time to yourself. For more information, go to kidville.com.
You can also have a Stay Home Camp. Create themes like Farm Animals or Space Exploration Camp. A great idea would be to have a scavenger hunt around your house. Grab the school supply list and have your kids hunt for items you already have around the house. A great way to save money on the supplies you won’t need to buy.
How much fun would it be to ride a robot zebra or elephant? Have a look!
