There’s a new, fun workout trend in town! It’s called Hip Hazel Hoops, and Kimberly Schlegel Whitman has the scoop on the hoops.
Hip Hazel Hoops offer hula hoop exercise classes. They have beginner courses that teach you the basics of hula hopping. It’s a great workout that works everything from your waist, arms, back, and buns as well as targeting your core. They use an oversized, weighted hoop for the workout.
It’s really fun, and the videos on their website look like dancing with the hula hoop. The beginning classes are $55 for 3 1-hour sessions, and they are located in the Southside on Lamar building near downtown Dallas.
