Shawn Marion won’t be using his fancy footwork to get a mirrorball trophy.  He recently turned down an offer to appear on Dancing With The Stars.

Shawn Marion wants to make sure he is 100% available to play should the NBA lockout end early.  He turned down an official offer to appear on Dancing With The Stars.  The show usually wraps in November, and should the NBA labor dispute get resolved, the new basketball season would tip off in late October causing a conflict.

Shawn Marion fans should not lose heart. You still have his reality tv show, “The Ladies Of My Life,” to look forward to.

A new season of Dancing With The Stars premieres September 19th on ABC.
